Concept
Parts of the concept for this typographic ident came from the history of Din and other parts came from how Din is used today. I was intrigued by how Din was initially created for a railway system and was grid based with a consistent stroke width. I chose to communicate this through the letterforms being built on a grid through transport movements, which reveal the word 'Din'.

Texture
I scanned in a texture I made by smudging pencil on paper to use in Cinema 4D applied to the floor and cubes to have a drawn graph feel.
The texture was made into an animated gif for the animation to make it look believable to be in a 3D environment as it is projected on moving 3D objects.
Testing movement
Animated texture test to see how it looks when objects are moving and if it looks believable as a moving texture on the objects. Further tests for motion blur were done by adjusting the camera's shutter speed, f.stop and motion blur settings.
Shutter speed: 1/15
Motion blur render setting: Low
Shutter speed 1/30
Motion blur render setting: Low
